Clients whose income level is equal to or below 125% of the federal poverty level and who have first been interviewed by Legal Services Alabama staff or VLP staff are eligible for free legal help through the VLP. Only civil, non-fee generating cases are accepted by the VLP.
To apply for legal help from the VLP, please fill out and submit this application form. You may want to make sure your case falls under one of the areas of law, listed to the left, in which the VLP will accept case referrals.
